Hajny Joins Wisconsin Technology Company as COO

MADISON, Wis. — Justin Hajny, a 15-year startup expert, recently joined SDMCentral, a Madison-based health care technology company, as Chief Operating Officer amid several leadership changes due to expanded company services.


Hajny, a 2010 MBA graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Madison, brings executive leadership and consulting success in finance and marketing services for early-stage startups, including Nobbits USA.


“SDMCentral will thrive with Justin’s expert guidance as our company grows exponentially in the next few years, particularly with our Shared Decision-Making suite of products designed to improve patient’s health care experiences and enhance patient/clinician engagement with data,” said SDMCentral’s CEO Daniel Guerra Jr., who started SDMCentral. in 2020.


In addition to his COO role, Hajny is Co-Managing Director of the MBCC Means Business incubator and accelerator programs, including a new effort with the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce.


Hajny joins other new leaders. Tom Cox, recently started as Chief Revenue Officer, and is a veteran sales executive in the golf retail industry and a Wittenberg University graduate. Ted Huwe, a two-year SDMCentral. leader, former Epic technical support advisor and graduate of Northwestern University, took the role of Chief Product Officer in September and manages the company’s Chicago office. Don Bukstein, M.D., a renowned physician in Allergy/Immunology, is Chief Medical Officer for SDMCentral.
