Investor Group Taps Guerra

BetterInvesting, also known as the National Association of Investment Clubs (NAIC), recently named Daniel G. Guerra Jr. to its board of directors.

BetterInvesting helps members learn how to become successful lifelong stock investors by following sound, practical investing principles.

It provides unbiased stock investing classes, online stock selection and analysis tools and investor publications among other resources.

Guerra is the founder of SDMCentral and Altus, Inc, a training and technology company that helps health care clinics and manufacturers develop digital tools to distill patient care preferences.

As an entrepreneur, Dan chose to give back to his community as chairperson of the board of directors Madison’s Community Development Authority from 2011 to 2019. This agency champions redevelopment efforts for the city and oversees the Section 8 federal housing program and the city’s public housing program that serves 1,800 people.

Guerra has participated in national Hispanic efforts including a program at Stanford University Latino Entrepreneurship Program and a member of the national Latino Business Action Network. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Latino Professional Association of Greater Madison, Inc.

Prior to starting SDMCentral, Dan worked in the web technologies and software development industry.
